Set in Stone: The memorials

In cemeteries, the parking is always easy. You may find yourself drawn to the final resting place of someone who died so long ago even the person who vowed to remember them has also long faded from memory. And then it’s worth considering who carved the stone and left a carefully engraved and sculpted work of permanent grace and you can breathe so much more calmly than when you came in and you remember it started when you didn’t even have to look for parking.
